Common questions

How do I look up a word? Tap it. On iPhone the lookup opens as a sheet; on iPad it opens beside the text.

How do I search by root? Tap the magnifying glass, type the letters on the Paleo keyboard (or switch to Square or English), and choose Root instead of Exact form.

How do I bookmark a verse? Tap its verse number. Bookmarks appear in the Bookmarks tab.

How do I remove ads? Settings › Remove Ads. If you bought it on another device, choose Restore purchase.

Why do some words show two readings? In 67 places the written letters (ketiv) differ from the traditional reading (qere). The text shows what is written; the lookup shows both.

Where does the text come from? The Westminster Leningrad Codex, with morphology from the Open Scriptures Hebrew Bible, definitions from Strong's, and the 1917 JPS English translation. See Settings › About & credits.
